Warick said a helicopter that was in the region for a training exercise also was deployed Monday to assist in the search.

Smaller crews were searching the mountains above Crestone and the Baca Grande subdivision on foot Tuesday.
Reisinger is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 155 pounds with brown hair that may be dyed. She has a nose piercing and gauge-ear piercings.

Thanks Gardender1850 for the thread and update.

    From August:

"CRESTONE — Search crews spent Monday and Tuesday in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains looking for a Crestone woman who’s been missing since July.

Kristal Reisinger, 29, was last seen July 13 but investigators have discovered she spoke to someone five days later, said Saguache County Sheriff Dan Warick.

Her entry in the NaMus Missing Persons Database said she was last seen at her Crestone residence July 30."

From the above article posted by ColoradoMomof3 :

“She answered the door crying. Really distraught, saying that she’d been to a party the night before,” McDonald said.
"(She said she’d been) given a bunch of drugs and she couldn’t remember for sure, but someone had taken advantage of her.”

McDonald encouraged her to tell police, something Reisinger said she was considering.
With that conversation in mind, shortly after Reisinger disappeared, McDonald found her tenant’s dead cellphone in the apartment. She found a charger and said she played Reisinger’s messages.

“From what was on her phone, it seems like she was on her way someplace. She needed to go someplace,” McDonald said.
According to McDonald and multiple sheriff's sources, the last person to have called Reisinger is a local man with a felony criminal history of assaulting and drugging a victim."

This is really scary. I feel so bad for Kristal. It seems she had a traumatic experience followed by something else horrible that resulted in her being missing. I hope they can find her and the person responsible.

    CO - Kristal Reisinger, 29, Crestone, 13 July 2016

Foul play suspected by police, but not her friends.

CRESTONE, Colo. -- Former Denver resident Kristal Anne Reisinger, 29, moved to a small town near the Sangre de Cristo Mountains seeking religious enlightenment.
Then around July 13, 2016, she disappeared...
McDonald had received several complaints from other tenants in the complex that some “sketchy” people had been coming to Reisinger’s residence....
"From what was on her phone, it seems like she was on her way someplace. She needed to go someplace,” McDonald said.

The Colorado Bureau of Investigation is reporting a woman's body was found just after 10 a.m. The body was found by a hiker in the area of County Road 42 and County Road Z. The area is just northeast of the Rio Grande National Forest. Anyone with information on this is asked to call the Saguache County Sheriff’s Office at 719-655-2544.

The CBI says this case does not appear to be connected with Kristal Reisinger, a person who was reported missing in the area.
