Wait. I'm confused.

Stepdaughter Jenna went missing on Wednesday Aug 31, and the stepson came home from school the next day and found his stepmother Rhonda Oakley deceased.

Was Jenna not reported missing on Wednesday? Did Rhonda die on Wednesday or Thursday? Was stepson home on Wednesday?

She was found deceased yesterday afternoon. Her stepdaughter is said to have not showed up for school yesterday, 9/1. RO had just arrived home from a business trip about an hour before her stepson found her.

She is approximately 5'4" and 115 pounds, with brown hair, brown eyes and was last seen wearing black framed glasses.

For reference, Jenna & the missing car in question were located in New Mexico.

Kentucky State Police say investigators have found a teenager, missing from Boyle County since last week, in New Mexico.

Jenna Oakley, 15, was found Saturday by the Tucumcari Police Department and Quay County Sheriff’s Office in the Motel 6 parking lot of Tucumcari, New Mexico.

Oakley was found unharmed and positively identified, along with Kenneth Nigh, 20 years old of Arlington, Indiana.

This should start getting interesting now. Very interesting.

I'm still confused about the whereabouts of Jenna's dad (and her bio mom).

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A man who was with a Boyle County teenager who went missing following her stepmother's death is now out of jail.

WKYT received a notification from the Quay County Jail in New Mexico stating that Kenneth Nigh had been released from their custody. The reason listed for his release was that Nigh had bonded out.

Justice moves so slowly it seems sometimes. I also am wondering where are biological parents, anyone know?

new article has these comments from phillip oakley (rhonda oakley's husband/jenna oakley's father):

Kentucky State Police have not publicly named any suspects in the murder, but Phillip Oakleyhad a few things to say about his daughter.
“What people say about Jenna, I don’t care. Say, feel however you want about her. Wow. That's a strong statement from 15 year old's father. I too feel horrible for Rhonda's family and loved ones. Looks like she was an amazing person with sooo many people who loved her. Hopefully Phillip was one of those people and was good to her. It's weird to me that he had her cropped out of all of his public FB photos since March of 2015, and is not FB friends with any of her loving (adult) children.

“If there was a book written about the perfect wife, the perfect mother, the perfect nana, that would be my wife,” Phillip Oakley said. “

I feel so very very sad for that poor man. His whole world probably feels destroyed. Apparently by his own daughter. Have to wonder what sort of problems had to be brewing before this happened. I pray for the family to be comforted.
