They sure don't give us much to go on. Makes me wonder if LE don't feel they need the public's help. No name even for this missing woman.

The truck door hanging open doesn't seem a good thing.

It must have been updated, there is a name now

Missing woman's body found


The body of a woman missing since Aug. 26 was found down a canyon from where her white pickup was located by a bicyclist near Old Kingsbury Grade on Sunday.

Gardnerville Ranchos resident Randi Maclean, 51, was found after Douglas County investigators and members of the Sheriff’s Search and Rescue combed the area near old Kingsbury Grade for five hours.

Maclean’s white pickup was found with one door open near the area of Daggett Creek at about 10 a.m.

A California Highway Patrol helicopter did a sweep over the area not long after the pickup was found, but didn’t locate Maclean.

Procedure in unattended deaths requires that they be investigated as homicides.

No information has been released as to Maclean’s cause of death.
