A suspect wanted in connection with a sexual assault at Bloor-Yonge Station last week is believed to be the same man accused of sexually assaulting girls in the midtown area over the past several weeks, police say.
Police told CTV Toronto Monday that they now believe the same man is involved in a series of sex assaults along Yonge Street that began on Sept. 2
“These two cases with the two different pictures we do believe is the same individual.

Suspect worked as lawyer at Toronto firm

The suspect worked as a lawyer at De Bousquet Barristers and Solicitors.
According to a biography posted to the firm’s website and confirmed by police, the suspect works as an external legal counsel. The biography says that before joining the firm, the suspect did commercial litigation work and was employed as an adjunct professor of law in Seoul, South Korea. The biography also said that the suspect spent five years with the Federal Court of Appeal in Ottawa.

Francois Lesieur, 32, was arrested on Sept. 25 and charged with four counts of sexual assault.
Police say that Lesieur was not known to them prior to his arrest.

Wonder what brought him to Korea eh?

Hopefully his Korean students were older than the 14, 15, and 16 year old girls he is alleged to have sexually assaulted, imo.

Toronto police allege that three girls — aged 14, 15 and 16 — were targeted in public places such as subway stations and a food court and sexually assaulted.
Jean-Alexandre De Bousquet said Lesieur worked with his firm for a few weeks this summer before leaving for another firm in the city.
“I am very surprised by this,” De Bousquet said of the charges. “He always struck me as a mild-mannered law-abiding citizen. He’s a very peaceful person.”
A Francois David Lesieur is listed in the Law Society of Upper Canada’s directory as a practising lawyer with the firm LeSieur Law, which is located at Yonge and Bloor streets.
LeSieur Law “focuses primarily on cross-border business and immigration issues,” according to its website.
LeSieur is from Ottawa and started his own practice in 2013, according to a biography on the website, which also says he plays hockey and has a black belt in taekwondo. The website also says he worked for Federal Court of Appeal for five years.

Unfortunately I doubt it

He was a law professor so his students were likely in their 20s. Although that doesn't mean he didn't have access to younger children as well. Speculation but a lot of people go to Korea to teach English - he might have volunteered for something like that.

Why on earth would this guy allegedly assault girls practically outside his place of business? The other area of alleged activity, was at Yonge& Eg. right near the police station.
Why would a educated, decent looking young guy, with a good job take such chances when he surely knew he would be spotted on cctv and caught?!
Hate to think of what he may have done when he was not in such populated spots.
imo, speculation.
