Missing woman's ex-boyfriend arrested for kidnapping

Her friends told FOX 4 the circumstances surrounding her disappearance are suspicious. They said her ex-boyfriend came over to her apartment to pick some things up and when he left he told them she got into someone else’s car, which is unlike her.

Revill was driving a white Ford Taurus when he was arrested, and police are asking anyone who may have seen the vehicle in east Fort Worth or west Arlington between 9:00 p.m. and midnight Monday night to come forward.Revill reportedly has a criminal history that includes burglary and aggravated robbery convictions, the paper reports. He was most recently released on parole in July 2015,.

Family, friends intensify search for missing Fort Worth woman
Typhenie Johnson was last seen Monday evening near her unit at the Post Oak East Apartments, not far from the Fort Worth and Euless city line on Trinity Boulevard.

Her former boyfriend, Christopher Revill, has been arrested and charged in connection with her kidnapping.

Police say they got a call from Johnson's brother on Monday night reporting that she was missing and it appeared "suspicious." When detectives arrived at her apartment, they found her cell phone and wallet.

This is so heartbreaking! She has a twin brother and I can't imagine what he is going through. :(

After tracking down Revill when he return to the complex, they interviewed the 32-year-old about being the last person seen with the woman. He was arrested hours later.

Police are also asking for the public's input from anyone that may have seen either the suspect or victim in a white Taurus on Monday night.

They're also reviewing surveillance video from the area, and conducting a "...systematic and methodical search," which includes wooded areas near the Trinity River close to the apartments.

I grew up just a few miles from where this occurred, I cannot stress how large the area is that has to be searched. The Trinity river bottoms are vast, thick and in many places almost impenetrable. Hopefully LE can get some info swiftly to either pinpoint a location or at least get a general area as we are supposed to have some heavy storms tonight and tomorrow, which will only make it much more difficult. I assume since they are already searching the woods they have an idea that she may be there.
 
FORT WORTH A 25-year-old Fort Worth woman had just told her ex-boyfriend “that it was over” less than an hour before she went missing this week, according to a jail affidavit released by police Thursday.
A bra “stretched out as if pulled apart,” a woman’s shirt and a broken smart watch were later found in the ex-boyfriend’s backyard, the affidavit said.

When police met with Revill on Monday night, he was “sweating excessively,” despite the cool temperature of about 65 degrees, the affidavit said.

Earlier that night, Revill and Johnson were seen by her brother talking outside her apartment about 9 p.m.

The two had dated for about eight months, but Johnson broke up with Revill two months ago, the affidavit said.

About five minutes later, Johnson’s brother went downstairs to look for her. When he walked around the corner of the building, he saw Revill’s car had been moved from the parking lot and was backed onto a yard area of grass and dirt.
Johnson’s brother also noticed that Revill’s trunk was open. He saw Revill close the trunk and drive out of the apartment complex, according to the affidavit.
When Johnson’s brother walked over to where Revill’s car had been parked, he found his sister’s sock and cell phone. Her car keys were also later discovered in the parking lot, police said.

additional officers went to home and located in the back yard a bra with the wire clasped on the back stretched out as if pulled apart. a ladies shirt. a smart watch with the clasp also broken. and a men's tank top. Revills parents confirmed that those Items were not there earlier and did not belong to them.

Do we have an address for where Typhenie lived and where Revill lived?

Her brother called Revill who said he would return but did not, after about 15 minutes the brother called LE, don't know how long it took them to arrive but Revill was called again and told to return by LE, he returned sweaty 25 minutes later. So he had about what? An hour ish? He can't have gone too far, if he went home too.
