He is disabled and uses a wheelchair and walker. Left his care facility to start a new life with a woman he met online. By Sept his bank accounts were drained but disability checks have gone uncashed. Praying for this guy.

I don't like the sounds of this at all :( Wishing for the best for George.

This does not sound good at all. Is there any family looking for him?

Venice man in wheelchair has been missing for two years

................................

Sounds like the woman who he went to live with has something to do with him - and his money - disappearing.

From the above link on how he became disabled:

12 years ago George was in Port Charlotte, it was a rainy night when he was walking across Tamiami Trail/41 and was hit by an SUV. Doctors did not expect him to survive, but he did.

Details of Disappearance
Kuehne was last seen in Hollywood, Florida on September 6, 2016. He was released from his nursing home in Venice, Florida on August 24 after his insurance stopped paying, and took a medical transportation van to the 2300 block of Lee Street in Hollywood to live with Christine Wagner, a woman he'd met online.

His family last heard from him on September 1, less than a week after he left the nursing home. Wagner said he left with two men in a white van on September 6.

Wagner has a long criminal history, including convictions for drugs and prostitution. When questioned by police, she admitted she'd placed $3,000 in charges on Kuehne's debit card, but his family doesn't believe this; they stated he was very conservative with his money and kept his pin number written down on a paper in his wallet.

Since Kuehne's disappearance, he hasn't accessed his bank account or used his Medicare card, which he would need to pay for his medications. His family believes he is probably deceased.

Source Information

If his insurance stopped paying Aug 24th, the social worker at the facility would have been involved. They would have found him housing if he needed it. Just because his insurance stopped paying, doesn’t mean he’d get booted out on the street. SSDI would take over and he’d be given a monthly allowance. The balance would go toward his care. So that part of the story is suspect. JMO

Who authorized a medical transport van and who paid for it? Venice to Hollywood is a 3+ hour drive.

….”and took a medical transportation van to the 2300 block of Lee Street in Hollywood to live with Christine Wagner, a woman he'd met online.”

Where is Christine Wagner now? Hmmm.
