I'm posting this FB https://www.facebook.com/Chasemporter because he is very active on news sites etc and posting a lot about searches for Oliver.

I don't know Oli personally but know some people who do. He has hundreds of friends who adore him and are worried sick about him.

I was just in Vancouver downtown earlier this week, I did not see any flyers or anything...

There was nothing in MSM until early this morning, so can only guess they were relying on info from LE.

I wonder why Burnaby RCMP is the lead agency when Oli was last seen in downtown Vancouver. Seems to me we had a similar situation in the Natsumi Kogawa case.

I have to make a trip into Vancouver this afternoon and have printed some posters off to take along.

I was visiting, and stayed downtown so i wont be back, but I really hope he is found. Downtown seemed like such a nice place, even at night, stark contrast from US cities.

My grandkids knew Oli and will be going to the service and Oli's Celebration of Life on Saturday. I can't stop crying over this young man I never met ... because it is so reminiscent of one of my own grandkids who was not unlike Oli just a few years ago but is now looking like he just stepped out of GQ.

I'm sad and very, very angry. They're kids trying to become adults, acting out, being ridiculous, doing pirouettes in the street, rebellious, growing up, coming of age. As it stands now it appears some POP has taken the life of a colourful and vibrant, crazy kid, a much loved character, Oli, Olipop, who carried a lollipop and wore platform shoes. Dammit, dammit, some creep took Oli away from all who love him, and tossed him like garbage miles away from home.

I do not understand why there has been not yet to my knowledge, any further or continued info on the circumstances or current, if any, investigation towards this case of my good friend Olli's apparent murder. How is one supposed to try and follow up on this? it seems crazy that we see NBC dateline specials and well-circulated follow up investigations on cases like this every day, in all forms of media, but with this clearly suspicious and very mysterious case, somehow nothing. He was so young and well-known as well, which would lead one to believe it would be of particular public interest. Boggles my mind every time i think about it.

take notice Vancouver

Have any of you taken notice of ALL the missing young gay men in Vancouver? Not just missing but some have been found murdered.A family member of mine her friend was found dead he was only 20 years old! He was a homosexual and it seems that most of these men are young 20s homosexual. Some have been found dead! We have a serial killer. It's highly probable that these cases are all linked to One serial killer. It's rare to have one active serial killer but to have two with the same victimology being active at the same time very rare Although not unheard Although not unheard of “highway killers”highway..you have better odds buying a lotto ticket and winning. Why haven't you taken notice?

The boy that was my family members friend was Oliver Zamarripa

I'll vouch for the publication as it's pretty local to Vancouver's downtown scene

B.C. man charged with offering indignity to dead body
Court documents show Vancouver and Lytton as the locations of the offence.

I am not posting a screenshot as there are others by the same name, but if you just enter the individual's first and last name (DM) on the BC Court Records search page of traffic/criminal, the top 2 entries on the list are the same file number; one with the name of the accused and the connected file with a pub ban on the name.

Curious elements are:

- accused wanting to know potential sentence before entering a plea
- accused ordered to "stay away from about 50 people"
- pub ban on name in the connected file
