Body Condition: recognizable face
Probable year of death: 1999

Vital Statistics
Estimated age: 30-45
Approximate Height: 66 estimate.
Approximate Weight: 142 estimate
Hair Color: Brown; Long and brown with a few gray streaks
Eye Color: hazel
Scars and marks: Old healed fracture to the left wrist (distal radius/ulna reginon) which healed with angular deformity (radius only). Healed fracture of the ulnar syloid process was seen by x-ray. Alcohol, Opiate and Cocaine positive for the Toxicology screen; Had Cirrhosis of the liver (heavy drinker); Numerous gall-stones in the gallbladder

Clothing: Blue jeans,a tan- reversible to blue plaid- jacket, decorated with the "Big Apple" emblem with wording "NYC #1" and a depiction of the Brooklyn Bridge and a peace sign handpainted on it. A broken pearl necklace was found in the pocket of her jeans

Case History: The body of a white female was found nude in the street at the corner of MLK and Cass Ave. in the city of Detroit. She had been badly beaten and died two days later in the hospital. She wore a distinctive jacket (tan with reversible blue plaid) with the Big Apple emblem,wording "NYC #1", the Brooklyn Bridge and a Peace symbol handpainted upon it.

This is a homicide case. Are they allowed to withhold the name of a homicide victim? I would think that that would be something the public had a right to know.
I would think the same thing, but they still haven’t released the name of Harper Avenue jane doe and she was ID nearly 2 years ago, also a Detroit case
