Lubbock police are searching for three siblings, ages 8, 5 and 2, last seen Oct. 18.
According to a press release, Lubbock police were contacted by an investigator with the Department of Family and Protective Services to file a missing person case on behalf of three siblings: Mariah Martinez, 8; Jeremiah Martinez, 5; and Leimiah Martinez Mcgavok, 2.
The investigator told officers their department had obtained a court order to remove the children from their parent's custody, but that the investigator had been unable to track down the family.

Holy guacamole! I'm worried for the safety of those children if what that article says is true!

Since Oct. 21, detectives with LPD's Juvenile Unit have been working with Child Protective Services to find the children. The children were believed to be in New Mexico with family members.

Around 2:45 a.m. on Tuesday, police received a call that two of the children had been dropped off to be with their mother in the 8900 block of University by a family member. The 8-year-old girl is believed to still be in the New Mexico area.

I am happy that Mariah was found. I wonder what the future holds for these precious 3 children. It wasn't said what happened to the other 2 when they were "dropped off to be with their mother."

It sounded like she was arrested, and I wonder where the children are, and, now, Mariah as well. I feel for her as she has probably adapted to a new environment after 2 years, and now will be uprooted again. https://twitter.com/missingkids/status/978700849823256577?s=21
In some of the comments on the twitter above, some were grateful that she would now be able to return home, but is that a good thing to be thankful for, considering the "home" she was in before? Of course, I don't know the circumstances of the place or places she has been for the past 2 years. I wonder if she has been attending school? Probably not..or she would have been found before now?I just hope they are placed in a loving, stable environment, and that the "mother" won't be allowed to interfere as we have seen happen so many times before.

What a miracle that all 3 of these children were found alive-

Wow! I had not seen of her case but saw her on Live PD. What a great new resource. Be well, little lady.
