Mark Weller was known to always keep in contact with his mom.
On the day of his disappearance, he called his mom and advised her that he was going to San Francisco. His girlfriend advised authorities that his suitcase was packed, though, he did not pick up a suit that was being altered for him. It was the owner of this suit store, Men's Wear, that was the last person to see Mark Weller.
There has been no sign of Mark Weller since.
