I keep seeing references to her gun. We know she had a Pinterest board for concealed carry but do we actually know she had one? I may have missed it.

I've only seen comments from friends of hers on her Facebook missing page saying she owns a gun, but did not have it with her.

Steelman posted this map on the last tthread and asked if it had been searched on foot. I can't tell the distance on the map, but there was a three mile grid search done according to this linked article. I agree that the area outlined in pink on the map should be searched on foot if it hasn't been.

So very strange that LE searches were halted so early in the case. Maybe private searches are happening this weekend. The PI they hired was the one who organized the search that found Danielle Van Dam. Hoping he has some intuition on Sherri's case. I'm sorry to say I don't feel she left on her own, or took her own life.

Someone posted about the protocol when LE suspects suicide.

So ... how would LE be handling this if they believed it was abduction?

Why such a calm, cool and collected feel? And have they assured the public that there is no threat?

Scenarios:

Voluntary. She was picked up at the intersection by a friend...dropped her phone to appear as abduction...but she would have been wearing her running clothes and taken nothing with her.

***

If suicide, she is likely nearby. But why drop the phone instead of leaving it at home?

***

Possibly abducted on another road...he realizes she has a phone, discards it at intersection...which means either the kidnapper had to stop the vehicle in order to remove the phone and ear buds from her, or there was more than one kidnapper.

***

Or she just happened to be running at the intersection at the very moment an opportunistic kidnapper came upon her ... grabbed her ... threw off the phone and ear buds ... unseen ... and drove far enough away that LE stops searches.

***

It seems to me that someone wants LE to believe that she was at that intersection, like "Sherri was here." I know I sound like a broken record but I can't shake the feeling that this is not what it appears to be. And I think if LE thought so, they would be handling it differently ... they would be calling it an abduction, for one thing.

IF that was her checkbook that was found near her other things, and IF she never showed up on any video, then I think she was likely abducted from her home or ( more likely) killed inside her home. She probably knew him well enough not to be afraid, and let him in. I have read other case narratives in which the perp threw a victim's belongings out of his vehicle window as he drove. They do this to cloud the investigation, to create another possible crime scene. I think the killer in this case cleaned up the crime scene, and that he may have been the house before. Based on their photos, I believe she kept a very neat and clean home, and I don't recall her husband noticing anything unusual when he came home ?

Did LE take cadaver dogs through that house ? JMO

Killed in her home ... I've wondered that, too. But then why throw the phone at the intersection?

I'm just assuming they did since they used dogs in the beginning and said there was NO evidence of foul play.

LE did not say what kind of dogs were used. Trail scent or cadaver. I don't think they are the same, or dual trained in both? The partially wrapped gift for Keith might be easily explained. But Sherri is not here to do that and her husband mentioned it seeming to think it was strange. An abduction from the home makes sense to me.

I saw at the end of the last thread where everyone was told to get prepared to move to a new thread.

So.............where do I put all my stuff ?

It would be really great to have info on areas that have been searched, apart from the area around where the phone was found, which is all I've seen. I may have missed things but do we have any official word on if Sherris home has been searched? TIA

She was last seen on Sunrise Drive-----not the road you have the Icon on...(item #1)

Probably this is just me, but it bugs me. If I'm going for a run, I try to find a loop that keeps me off higher traffic roads, particularly if there are no sidewalks. If I'm running in that neighborhood, the last route I'd take (if I lived on Sundust Rd) would be north on Old Oregon Trail off Sunrise.

I have seen this in other case narratives Perp throws some of victim's belongings out of his vehicle,or sets the belongs down. They do it to try to create another possible crime scene, to cloud the primary crime scene. It often seems to work for a while.jmo

If phone was placed at that intersection (which I agree seems odd place to job and could be a plant) then head east towards 299 (burney etc) or northeast towards the lake via bear MTn rd and search?

Are we sure about that? Like I said I may have missed some things (so many cases on the go) but I thought the witness sighting on Sunset Drive was in question? But she was seen by neighbours on the street she lives on, Sunset Road?

So we have 2 confirmed sighting of her jogging?

Zoom in-----read the name on the street where you have the icon placed........
