Martin Austin http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/a/austin_martin.html has been missing from Fairfield, California since 15 March 1974. Two days later, his car was found abandoned in Pacifica, CA. Pacifica is approximately 73 miles from Aptos. Fairfield is 112 miles away. Alan Soper http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/s/soper_alan.html was hitchhiking across the country, often with trucker drivers at the time of his disappearance. He was reportedly last heard from in Sacramento. Almost three years to the day after he was last heard from some of his belongings, including his wallet, were found in Needles, California.

Wow, Alan Soper favors the recon! NamUs doesn't list the exclusions, so I'm wondering if he has been ruled out yet.

Aptos John Doe has been unidentified for 45 years today.

None of the people suggested here are redheads like the deceased.

Has reddish hair like the deceased. He is said to have dissapeared with tan work boots. Deceased was wearing work boots. Was also last seen wearing corduary pants and deceased was wearing corduary pants. Don't know why he would be found about 6 hours from where he was known to be camping but possible abduction?
