Amy Snow was reported missing by her mother on Dec. 1. She had walked away from her mother’s residence in Salyer.

Deputies checked at places she might be, including hospitals, said Lynn Ward, information officer for the Trinity County Sheriff’s Office. But Snow was not located. She was entered into the missing persons’ system and a flier distributed to neighboring counties.

Her Facebook says her Current City is Eureka, California, and she went to Trinity High School in Weaverville, California. Eureka is in Humboldt County. Salyer and Weaverville are in Trinity County.

It doesn't seem like many people are looking for her. :( I wonder if she's considered voluntary missing.

She walked away from her mother's house. Was there an argument? Did she leave her car there? Was she known to hitchhike? Did she say where she was going? How long before Mom called LE?

Bumping for Amy. May she be found soon. :heartbeat:

AS POLICE struggle to make sense of the unsolved Sherri Papini abduction case, at least three other women have vanished in mysterious circumstances from the same region.

Amy Snow, 25, Jessica Roggenkamp, 44 and Stacey Smart, 52, have all disappeared in the past two months from small northern Californian communities less than a three-hour drive from Redding, where Mrs Papini was kidnapped.

All this news coming out that are tying these 3 women together is very misleading if you ask me. It almost seems like they are trying to divert attention away from Papini by saying, "See, there's 2 others gone too."
They do not seem to be related AT ALL.

We have so little info on Amy, how in the heck can they imply it could be tied to the other 2?? She walked away? Okay...where? As someone upthread said...was there an argument? Suicide? Depression? Boyfriend? Court problems? Drug problem? There is SO little information that LE is making it seem that it is voluntary. Literally...NO INFO

As for Jessica,

"ROGGENKAMP’s disappearance is believed to be voluntary but is still being investigated according to protocol. There are no known or reported details, suspicious circumstances, or other information which is indicative of foul play. At this time, there is no indication that this case involves an abduction or other like incident. Anyone with information about this case is urged to contact the Anderson Police Department at (530) 245-6526.v"

I do not think they are related at all and now, all the media trying to make it seem like Papini was the "first" of three to be kidnapped..is distracting and misleading. It certainly doesn't help.

Right. The speculation is media-driven because it makes a good story. This is just three more women missing, unrelated to Papini or to each other. There is no common denominator unless Big Foot is at work. :) The speculation started in the media when Stacey was reported missing the same day Sherri was (although not seen for several weeks prior). Jessica and Amy bring it to three.

I would love to know how LE decides to change a designation from "voluntary" to "endangered" or "suspicious circumstances." There must be a strict protocol they follow because it seems that they stick to "voluntary" longer than seems logical to us. They must need visible evidence or more time elapsed to change the label, even though I'm sure they can see that a situation doesn't make sense.

The body identified is Amy. No foul play suspected.

Sounds like an accident. From the link:

The body found by the Trinity River in Salyer near Salyer Bluffs by a fisherman on Dec. 31 has been identified as Amy Lynn Snow, 25, said Jessica Tillinghast, records technician for the Trinity County Sheriff’s Office.

An autopsy showed that the death was due to blunt force trauma, consistent with a fall from a great height, Tillinghast said. Foul play was not suspected.

RIP Amy!
