CAMPTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Wolfe County Sheriff is hoping someone in the public can help him track down a missing man.

Taulbee is described as being 5’10” tall, and 190 pounds with a medium build.

The Sheriff says Taulbee was last seen wearing a gray jacket, blue jeans, and brown boots.

From the link above: Gilbert said Taulbee lives behind her. He has never been gone this long without any contact. The last time Gilbert saw her son was on Christmas Eve.

Investigators say Taulbee suffers from mental health problems.

“He thinks everybody is out to get him,” said Gilbert.

Gilbert said Taulbee did contact her once and said he was in a motel in Hazard, and that he had just gotten out of the hospital.

Unidentified remains found:
Police say a man living in the area found remains near a camper on Kentucky Highway 1304 in the Hinkle community, located about four miles north of US 25 near Barbourville.
A search and recovery team went to the area and found more remains.

Police say they are holding off on releasing the identity of the person but say the remains do match those of a man reported missing within the last few months. That person, according to police, has family in Knox and Bell Counties.

502 area code is Jefferson County (Louisville), Bullitt County (Shepherdsville) vicinity.

KY State Police report on Facebook that more details will be available tomorrow afternoon, after autopsy is complete.

According to that article the remains have been identified as Willie Hobbs. Omer is still missing.

He isn't in NAMUS?? It seems like once they use the terms mental health or health issue if they are found some states do not report anything further than this missing info. Or, at least that is what I have noticed.
