Just before 10 a.m. Monday, police took a “person of interest” in the shooting into custody.

Wondering if "person of interest" was booked under like a failure to appear or warrant for another crime?

I am sorry this whole thing from the beginning just hit me as bizarre

A fourth person injured in Sunday night’s fatal shootings likely drove randomly to the spot about two miles away where he was found, a resident of that neighborhood said Tuesday.

“It does make sense that someone could walk or run (to) here,” the resident said. “However, I believe he drove here because there was a vehicle that was towed away by the police department (Monday) that was parked right next to where the incident took place. “

The car was a black BMW,

“It was a complete random act that he ended up here. He was running from somebody and this was just a close spot for him to get to.”

The victims of Sunday’s fatal shooting were attending a Super Bowl party at the home on Mohawk Street when they were gunned down, according to a friend who exchanged text messages with one of the women killed.


resident Christopher Burton said he received several messages from Brandi El-Salhy, one of three people killed Sunday, in the hours before the shooting.

“Everything seemed to be fine,” Burton said. “Nothing seemed to be like, ‘Hey, I am in trouble.’ ”

Burton said he met El-Salhy on Tinder, a dating app, about a month ago.


last saw El-Salhy on Friday, when the two hung out at a friend’s house before going to the Pirate’s Well, a bar in unincorporated Palm Beach Gardens along Alternate A1A north of Northlake Boulevard.

Burton said he received a text message from El-Salhy on Sunday night, asking him if he had plans.

“She was asking me what I was doing for the game,” Burton said.

he told El-Salhy he already had plans and she responded: “No worries. Just chillin with some friends at my bros house.” The last message from El-Salhy came at 9:36 p.m. — about an hour before Sunday’s shooting.

Town police have linked a person found near the Mohawk Street crime scene with wounds requiring medical attention to the fatal shooting of three people Sunday night.

Now they are saying this

We all know eyewitness are really not good. I found the car fast driving by AND then someone running --so does that mean two shooters, and one drove away on the his her partner?

"Person of interest" what does that really mean" They have him in custody so there has to be some reason (not related to this) that they get an excuse to hold him her while they try to figure out if this was him her.

48 hours later "person of interest" as far as know is still in custody, but not named SO that has to mean they have some reason to continue to hold him./her

Lets try this. Lets go two shooters. One witness said a car went by fast THEN (this haunts me) saw guy running and ducking.

Then heard a shot. Maybe it was not ducking maybe it was the "injured" guy getting shot?? And then running. Now that there is no second "scene" (which changed as the story progressed).

This fits IMO.OR maybe the injured person was at the party? If someone is shooting at you run!

My goodness - the injured guy was AT the party that night.

Sources tell WPBF 25 News the man was attacked by the suspect, either stabbed or shot, but was able to run about a mile away before collapsing on Paseo’s Way.

One neighbor said he saw a man fire a gun and then escape in a dark sedan. Police later found a car matching that description abandoned on I-95.

I hate it when websites do this. The report was on. Then another report started.

AIn that report she described a black car (there was a picture of it in the driveway) BUT she named the owner as another name (sounded Spanish name). A name never mentioned in this whole thing until now.

But I did not have a back page arrow and can not get it again. That report ALSO said the killer is still on the loose- so in some way that fits in with "person of interest" - but not charged - so in a way it sounds like they dont want to scare the community??
