Would this be more fitting for unclaimed remains? Since it sounds like they've pretty much figured out who is?

Human remains belonged to man with two identities

FERNAN, Idaho (KBOI) - Human remains found in the Fernan area in northern Idaho belonged to man who lived in Canyon County for several years.

The Kootenai County Sheriff's Office said Friday that human remains were found in December last year near Fernan. Near the remains were a wallet with two identifications for a Jessie Dean Stacy and Jesse Dean Hayes.

Deputies say it's appears to be the same person.

Stacy/Hayes is believed to have lived in Pocatello from 1998-2004 and the Nampa, Caldwell area from 2006 until 2011.

Officials are asking anyone who knew the 49-year-old to contact the sheriff's office at 208-446-1300.

"Fast forward to the summer of 2021. A family, who asked I not identify them, wondered what happened to an uncle they hadn't seen or heard from in years. Using the power of web searching, they came upon prior posts and news articles and recognized their uncle. Jesse had been a loner and not contacted family for years, but they never knew he was an unclaimed body in northern Idaho.

This family got in touch with law enforcement and have recently received personal items found with his body when he was discovered. This closes out the case of Jessie Dean Stacey/Hayes."
