A man accused of beating 10-month-old Caiden Henry to death may have carried his body around for hours while reporting that the baby was sleeping, according to court documents.

Police discovered fresh bruises on Caiden’s cheeks, forehead and stomach. The Spokane County Medical Examiner ruled Caiden’s death was due to blunt force trauma. An autopsy revealed internal bleeding and brain hemorrhaging, according to court documents.

Joshua Mobley, the man accused of killing 9-month-old Caiden Henry, appeared in court Thursday for a hearing to determine if he should be allowed to move back home with his wife and three young children.

As part of his release conditions, he is not allowed to be alone with children, including his own.

Caiden’s mother, Crystal Henry, told KREM 2 Thursday, the last time she saw Caiden alive was when Joshua Mobley dropped her off at work along with his wife Jennifer the morning of February 26. Mobley was in charge of watching Caiden, along with his own children, while they were at work.

The man accused of murdering the 10-month-old baby he was babysitting was back in court Friday asking for a change in his release conditions.

Attorney's said Friday Mobley was asking to move his wife and four children into his parent's home after some financial issues. The judge granted the request, stating "five adults" would have "eyes" on Mobley ahead of his murder trial in September.
