Dear Websleuths Members,

Please DO NOT bring in family members of the victim's and suggest they might have had something to do with the crime. As of right now, there is ZERO evidence to suggest this is the case.

People, please think about what Abby and Liberty's loved ones are going through right now.

They lost their two angels to murder and now they read on the Internet people are ripping their lives apart.

Same thing with any random person you happen to bring up. These people do not deserve to have their lives spread out and accusations made against them based on a theory with nothing to back it up.

I know it's frustrating when you go on other sites and they are talking about EVERYTHING but we just do not work that way on Websleuths.

You are anonymous behind your computer screen. Doesn't hurt you if you post something that's not true about a grieving family member. You step away from your computer and all is well. Meanwhile, your words are like burning hot knives in people's hearts.

Please take a moment to read our rules
http://www.websleuths.com/forums/misc.php?do=showrules

If you have any questions please email websleuthscomments@gmail.com or send a private message.

Ask yourself the following; Would you stand face to face with the person you are accusing, tell them your theory and tell them your real name?

Even with our tight and well thought out rules Websleuths is able to do amazing sleuthing.

Thank you for caring about Abby and Liberty.

PS. Thank you KayElJay for letting me post in your opening post.

Carroll County Sheriff Toby Leazenby said Abigail Williams and Liberty German were last seen around 1 p.m. when they were dropped off to go hiking at High Bridge, just east of Delphi.

Police ID bodies of Indiana girls

Two bodies found along a northern Indiana stream are those of two teenage girls who went missing Mondayand their deaths are being investigated as homicides, authorities said on Wednesday.

State Police Sgt. Kim Riley said autopsies performed Wednesday determined that the bodies are those of Liberty German, 14, and Abigail Williams, 13, both of Delphi.

Their bodies were found Tuesday afternoon along Deer Creek near Delphi, about 60 miles northwest of Indianapolis. Police said the girls’ bodies were about three-quarters of a mile from an abandoned railroad bridge where they were dropped off Monday to go hiking.

SGT. KIM RILEY, INDIANA STATE POLICE (via telephone) with CNN re: three posts in the image on the bridge

RILEY: We have looked at it. We`ve blown it up. As a matter of fact, that was done right after we got the picture -- we had access to the picture. And if you look at the far end of the tracks, it looks like there`s two people actually standing there. But if you blow the picture up, you`ll notice that there`s actually three poles there to keep cars from being -- trying to drive across the bridge. So that`s the marks that you see at the end of the tracks.

New thread :(, new thought:

What if BG only saw one of the girls and did not spot the other until he had already approached/grabbed the first girl? Perhaps he saw Abby on the bridge, veered toward her and only THEN saw Libby, maybe sitting off to the side taking pictures.

It may explain why he would choose to accost TWO girls in broad daylight:

It was not part of his plan.

I am not married to the idea, just spitballing.

Ftr, I do not think he had any prior knowledge of either girl. IMO, I think he was there just looking for an opportunity. :(

I've also had success just by clearing the cookies from the cache.

I've been saying SK from day one riding the rails it was random.... I have changed my mind. IMO he is local or was given info by a local of the area. I do not think it was random. WS rules will not allow me to state specifics as to why I have changed my opinion. I believe I am allowed to say that I find the below reading to be very interesting.

It took forever to get signed in to Tapatalk and finally be able to post. Thread 16 almost drove me bananas with one person pretty much blaming the crime on a well known community member. So glad the police did advise against such actions. I'm so troubled for this community. I saw in thread 16 where someone postulated that a person from an RV park may have committed the crime. I also became very perplexed with the side by side postings of the BG's face enhancements. I do wonder if the Steubenville, OH arrest at that RV park relates. The enhancement photos are eerily similar to the guy arrested. I am optimistic that there will be a resolution soon!

My point was, there are so many posts where people start their dialogue with "I think..."

I think the perp was gone from the crime scene within (x number of minutes)
I think he was visiting the cemetary
I think .... fill in any blank

Sleuthing and bouncing ideas off each other is beneficial, however, if there's no basis to why someone thinks that, then I'm at a loss as to why I should consider the point--thus my comment that I personally scroll on by comments like this. <SNIP>
Maybe that explains why so few people read most of my posts! I almost always start with 'I think', 'I believe', 'I wonder' or 'Is it possible?', although I try to add an explanation for why I think it. I don't see much difference between that and saying MOO, JMO, etc.

But LE has also said there could be another person involved. And the article where the kids were interviewed saw a man dressed in black there on the trail the same day. That he was involved LE seems certain but IMO they are leaving room for another person.

Do you happen to have a link or know where I could find that interview? I've been looking for it ever since I was told I was posting rumors when I mentioned it. TIA

I know I'm really late with these responses, but it seems like every time I get ready to respond, the thread is closed and I have to start all over trying to get caught up!

I use the phrase "I think" when I'm not writing about facts in a link.

I welcome others who "think."

New thread so I'm not sure my 2 unanswered questioned from the last one carry over? Just joined today. Can someone familiar with the area tell me a little about Indiana Packers Corp, distance from the bridge, what the do there. Second, are we allowed to post links to registered sex offender pages from the area? Thanks

Wish they'd issue another press release. This "nothing" is difficult. I can't imagine how the families are feeling.
