I profoundly believe, based on everything I have read, that Orlando Morales is innocent of the murder of Tammy Seals, and has served more than 35 years for a murder he had nothing to do with.
Tammy Seals was a 14 year old papergirl from Cleveland. She disappeared in the early morning in October 1980, while out delivering the paper. Her body was found several months later. A flaky young woman with personal problems, after giving several conflicting stories to police, identified Morales, who she did not know. Add a jailhouse snitch, and you have a conviction and a life sentence.
With the Ariel Castro case coming to light, some have speculated that he was involved in Tammy Seals' murder, though I believe this is unlikely.
I hope you all look into this case!
