I haven't started many threads so I hope I am doing this right. I searched for a thread on Derrick Moore but couldn't find one.
Derrick Moore, 26, was charged with attempted first-degree murder, first-degree residential burglary, assault resulting in great bodily injury and assault with a stun gun, inflicting great bodily injury and committing a serious offense within five years of a prior prison term. (he was 25 at the time). He faces life in prison due to the three strikes law.
The woman did not know who he was but had seen him around her apartment complex and he made her nervous enough that on one occasion she called the police.
I would love to find out what happed with the trial but haven't found any media reports. If anyone in the area has info, please share it.
Unrelated to the crime but proof that apples don't fall far from the tree, he and his mother were on Judge Judy suing the mother of a deceased teen girl who totaled the Moore's car while she and Derrick were on a joy ride. She had zero empathy for the other mom.
