A search continues for a Powell Tribune reporter who was last seen taking photographs near U.S. Highway 14 west of Cody on Jan. 31.
Mathers, 61, was last seen on the North Fork around midday on Tuesday, Jan. 31.
His truck was found in a pullout off U.S. Highway 14/16/20 in the Shoshone National Forest, about a half-mile west of the Wapiti Campground and roughly 30 miles west of Cody.
The search for 61-year-old Gib Mathers has been hampered by heavy snow, including about 2 feet on the ground when Mathers went missing and another 18 inches or so that has fallen since.
A mail carrier later told the Sheriffs Office shed seen Mathers on the highway around 11:30 a.m., taking photographs from his truck east of where it was later parked.
