GUILTY FL - Alisa Mathewson, 37, kidnapped, raped and almost murdered, Lithia, 11 March 2017 *husband Arrested*

My hope is that he won't kill or harm her, now that he knows there are witnesses.

Hey skully ! Glad to see you around!

Do they know 100% that it was in fact the husband? Could he be involved but had someone else do the kidnapping?

I just read about this and came here and see a thread has been started. I hope she is found unharmed!

This sounds like a scary situation!

Her husband should turn himself in immediately!

Yes, this sounds very scary. From the above article:
"Deputies said a witness saw female, who appeared to have her hands tied behind her back, screaming for help.
...
They said the victim and the suspect are married and both have injunctions against each other.

The couple is currently separated and deputies said Alisa went to Trevor Summers, 39, home to talk about their marriage, but had not returned home. "

I hope Alisa stays safe!

Another article:

"The couple has five children together. The oldest is 14. They're currently staying with Trevor Summers' father who said he's not concerned about Alisa Summers safety, Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office public information officer Debbie Carter said at a news conference." (BBM)

Hmmm ....

he pulled a knife on her, threatened her with duct tape and rope, and held against her will for several hours, records show

and he's not concerned???

Hmmm ....

They must have removed the part about him not being concerned. Weird

It sounds like the children are well old enough to be able to give their opinion about what is going on. On the one hand, she keeps claiming domestic abuse and on the other she keeps going to meet with him to talk about their marriage. I do understand sometimes battered women do that, but is something else going on here?

Why are her children living with her husband's father? Were they living there before this, or did they start living there when she disappeared?

I've certainly been shocked that sometimes witness accounts don't match up to what actually happened. How many times have we seen witnesses state they saw child abducted, but there are no missing children?

Prayers for her safety.

Apparently he's a con man with a criminal record, and a recent history of scamming people out of hundreds of thousands of dollars and then vanishing:

Is it possible he didn't kidnap her - that someone who spent their life savings and lost them with Mr. Summers kidnapped them both? If she was going to his house to "talk about their marriage", why in the world did he bother to kidnap her from a public parking lot?

I don't think this is as being reported.

She has still not been found. The local press is sounding serious alarms as conveyed by LEO

From our local TBO.COM: http://www.tbo.com/news/hillsboroug...pected-of-kidnapping-estranged-wife-20170312/ :

"Then on Feb. 21, she filed another petition for a protective order. Alisa Summers said that after meeting to discuss a divorce settlement at Trevor Summers' home, he pulled a knife on her, threatened her with duct tape and rope, and held against her will for several hours."

That statement, alone, raises the stakes in this :-(

I also just want to mention that unless you have been a victim of domestic violence, you'll never be able to wrap your head around why someone would "go see" their abuser.

Don't judge. That's not your place.

This is not aimed at any particular person - just a preemptive comment.....

Sounds like TS has been in trouble with the law quite a bit: http://www.abcactionnews.com/money/...ending-a-fortune-on-pools-that-sit-unfinished

None of these customers had a clue he had an arrest record dating back 15 years. Or that just last fall he pleaded guilty to federal fraud charges in an unrelated case in Philadelphia.

According to this article, TS was scheduled for sentencing 12/21/16 on the PA fraud charges: http://www.dailylocal.com/article/DL/20161003/NEWS/161009962.
