NEW RULE: IF YOU WANT TO POST ABOUT A REGISTERED SEX OFFENDER YOU MUST GET PERMISSION FIRST. PLEASE SEND A PRIVATE MESSAGE TO ANY OF THE MODERATORS. BE PATIENT BECAUSE IT WILL TAKE TIME TO GET BACK WITH YOU

Dear Websleuths Members,

Please DO NOT bring in family members of the victim's and suggest they might have had something to do with the crime. As of right now, there is ZERO evidence to suggest this is the case.

People, please think about what Abby and Liberty's loved ones are going through right now.

They lost their two angels to murder and now they read on the Internet people are ripping their lives apart.

Same thing with any random person you happen to bring up. These people do not deserve to have their lives spread out and accusations made against them based on a theory with nothing to back it up.

I know it's frustrating when you go on other sites and they are talking about EVERYTHING but we just do not work that way on Websleuths.

You are anonymous behind your computer screen. Doesn't hurt you if you post something that's not true about a grieving family member. You step away from your computer and all is well. Meanwhile, your words are like burning hot knives in people's hearts.

Please take a moment to read our rules
http://www.websleuths.com/forums/misc.php?do=showrules

If you have any questions please email websleuthscomments@gmail.com or send a private message.

Ask yourself the following; Would you stand face to face with the person you are accusing, tell them your theory and tell them your real name?

Even with our tight and well thought out rules Websleuths is able to do amazing sleuthing.

Thank you for caring about Abby and Liberty.

PS. Thank you KayElJay for letting me post in your opening post.

Carroll County Sheriff Toby Leazenby said Abigail Williams and Liberty German were last seen around 1 p.m. when they were dropped off to go hiking at High Bridge, just east of Delphi.

Police ID bodies of Indiana girls

Two bodies found along a northern Indiana stream are those of two teenage girls who went missing Mondayand their deaths are being investigated as homicides, authorities said on Wednesday.

State Police Sgt. Kim Riley said autopsies performed Wednesday determined that the bodies are those of Liberty German, 14, and Abigail Williams, 13, both of Delphi.

Their bodies were found Tuesday afternoon along Deer Creek near Delphi, about 60 miles northwest of Indianapolis. Police said the girls’ bodies were about three-quarters of a mile from an abandoned railroad bridge where they were dropped off Monday to go hiking.

SGT. KIM RILEY, INDIANA STATE POLICE (via telephone) with CNN re: three posts in the image on the bridge

RILEY: We have looked at it. We`ve blown it up. As a matter of fact, that was done right after we got the picture -- we had access to the picture. And if you look at the far end of the tracks, it looks like there`s two people actually standing there. But if you blow the picture up, you`ll notice that there`s actually three poles there to keep cars from being -- trying to drive across the bridge. So that`s the marks that you see at the end of the tracks.

As of Today's date there are no NAMED POIs or suspects. There is a suspect who is unidentified and is the subject in the images taken from Liberty German's phone.

That unidentified male is being referred to here as BG (bridge guy).

I was just posting this in the last thread, bringing it here:

Is there an easy way to locate the current discussion if you've been away and several threads have closed and gone on? Several times I've come back and could not find the latest part of the discussion. Just go round and round in the old stuff ....

Also my WS format on the PC has changed so I do not have ads and current comments on the right. Where did it all go?

With this case, it's just impossible to keep up with everything in the threads. When I come back to it after missing some, I start at the most recent post and read the posts in reverse order, so that I'll know if there's anything new right away.

Carroll County Sheriff Tobe Leazenby told ABC News today he expected to have a suspect in custody by the one-month mark, but he holds out hope that the next tip officials receive will be the one that leads to the girls' killer.

Authorities said today they've received 13,000 tips in the teens' case and the reward for information leading to an arrest has grown to $250,000. Leazenby said the latest big spike in tips came after Libby's grandfather, Mike Patty, gave a news conference last Thursday pleading for the public's help.

Leazenby, who said he spoke to Patty on Monday, said, "The tone I hear from his voice ... he still is as much driven and focused as we all are."

"I'm still confident as sheriff in this county that we will resolve this and get justice for Abby and Libby," Leazenby added.

To the killer, Leazenby vowed: "We are going to find you and you will answer to this."

"People look at people different ways now, I think," Leazenby said. "I think complacency has been at least eliminated at this stage, and it's more of a mindful, watchful, vigilant attitude. I don't want paranoia, and I don't think we've had that, but people literally looking over their shoulder is not necessarily a bad thing in today's society."

At Delphi Community Middle School, where Abby and Libby were eighth-graders looking forward to high school, grieving friends are now painting a "tree of life" on the cafeteria wall with different messages, Briles said.

I'm also reposting this because it is so interesting, I did not realize the last thread was closing or I would have waited to post this:

A little earlier I posted a transcription of a telephone interview with the Sheriff. Between the comment below, and the other comment about the nightmare thing.. it sure makes me wonder what we don't know about what happened to the girls.

Excerpt from telephone interview (posted on the media thread):

MS: Yeah. You know it happened like 2 miles up the street from my father's house, and when I seen it on Fox News I was like, wow, you know, that's really close(??)

SL: Whispers: Yeah.

MS: And I figured that, that an arrest would've been a couple days, I mean, off the top. Because I figured it was a local guy, local area, he knew the place..

SL: Right.

MS: He wouldn't have traveled just to that little spot.

SL: Yeah.

MS: So I figured with the picture, I might've known the guy. But I'd never seen him.

SL:
Sure. Yeah. Yeah. Uhhmm that was the same obvious concept or thought process we had as well because um, you know, as I've (stumbles on words and says Excuse me) shared with other outlets, that we've had our share of, even double homicides, but they were elderly folks back in the 90s and it turned out to be, um, unfortunately, grandchildren involved in their deaths, and uh, so yeah, we were able to catch those pretty quick, but uh, umm, this one's just, it's, it's got a whole new, it's got a whole twist to it that, even I, as a 30 year veteran, have never seen.

Briles said students and teachers also appear to be angry that the suspect is still on the loose.

"They went through that shock and that horror," Briles said, and "now I think they're at a point where they're at an anger level. ... We know that the state police, the FBI, the local police, everyone, is doing everything within their power to capture the monster or monsters who did this ... but they're still angry."

I am assuming too that Liberty had an iPhone and it was linked to her iPad so maybe that is how the video of BG was recovered...

Mine is linked also...

Depending on her settings of course...

Making more sense that way why BG would leave phone with body...Maybe he didn't...

The FBI has since released a list of behavioral clues that could help lead investigators to the killer or killers. The agency is asking the public to be on the lookout for anyone who has exhibited the following signs:

Changes in their daily routines, including modified sleep patterns Increased use of alcohol or drugs
Cleaned or disposed of clothing and / or shoes that might have been worn on Feb. 13
Missed work or other engagements
Anxiety, nervousness or irritability
Excessive attention to the investigation, media coverage or lengthy discussions related to the murders

"On Monday, February 13, the individual or individuals responsible for these crimes may have been absent from work, missed or canceled appointment or social engagements, or been unavailable or unresponsive during the afternoon period," the FBI explained in a news release. "They may have been a 'no-show' or offered a plausible excuse for their absence or tardiness, such as illness, death in the family, car trouble, etc."

Not sure what you're using but in my Firefox I went to Private Browsing and all the ads disappeared. But I do still have current comments.

Well yeah, that would be like all of us here.

Hopefully they will release a true profile or at least something more the public could and would work with.

Thank you, i thought that the word "twist" was in reference to the case and not a specific thing.

Haha, yes, I don't think they mean us. Still waiting for an official FBI profile to be released.
