Please DO NOT bring in family members of the victim's and suggest they might have had something to do with the crime. As of right now, there is ZERO evidence to suggest this is the case.

People, please think about what Abby and Liberty's loved ones are going through right now.

They lost their two angels to murder and now they read on the Internet people are ripping their lives apart.

Same thing with any random person you happen to bring up. These people do not deserve to have their lives spread out and accusations made against them based on a theory with nothing to back it up.

I know it's frustrating when you go on other sites and they are talking about EVERYTHING but we just do not work that way on Websleuths.

You are anonymous behind your computer screen. Doesn't hurt you if you post something that's not true about a grieving family member. You step away from your computer and all is well. Meanwhile, your words are like burning hot knives in people's hearts.

Carroll County Sheriff Toby Leazenby said Abigail Williams and Liberty German were last seen around 1 p.m. when they were dropped off to go hiking at High Bridge, just east of Delphi.

Police ID bodies of Indiana girls

Two bodies found along a northern Indiana stream are those of two teenage girls who went missing Mondayand their deaths are being investigated as homicides, authorities said on Wednesday.

State Police Sgt. Kim Riley said autopsies performed Wednesday determined that the bodies are those of Liberty German, 14, and Abigail Williams, 13, both of Delphi.

Their bodies were found Tuesday afternoon along Deer Creek near Delphi, about 60 miles northwest of Indianapolis. Police said the girls’ bodies were about three-quarters of a mile from an abandoned railroad bridge where they were dropped off Monday to go hiking.

RILEY: We have looked at it. We`ve blown it up. As a matter of fact, that was done right after we got the picture -- we had access to the picture. And if you look at the far end of the tracks, it looks like there`s two people actually standing there. But if you blow the picture up, you`ll notice that there`s actually three poles there to keep cars from being -- trying to drive across the bridge. So that`s the marks that you see at the end of the tracks.

As of Today's date there are no NAMED POIs or suspects. There is a suspect who is unidentified and is the subject in the images taken from Liberty German's phone.

That unidentified male is being referred to here as BG (bridge guy).

In regards to Abby being "dolled up" etc. My daughter just turned 14 and resmbles very closely to Abby's snapchat pic. (That's why this case has really hit me) If you look at previous pictures of my daughter she looks a little awkward, in that tween stage still. In the last few months she has gotten into make up, clothes, shoes, swimsuits, etc and really has blossomed into a beautiful young lady. I think it's just the passing of time and teens maturing into young adults. I wouldn't read too much into her look that day. MOO
 
PLEASE report any and every suspicious thing or person you see. Do not second guess it.

First time poster and long term lurker... I usually don't think I have anything useful to contribute but I love reading (and am sometimes in awe of ) all of the the insightful things you guys all pick up on in these cases!

Just a thought re: the division in opinions about whether it was arranged / cat-fished or just random. Someone asked a few threads back about online stalking in secret and it occurred to me that it could have been in-between the two and it presented an opportunity. What if the girls 'checked in' on Facebook / social media? It would be blatantly obvious to anyone also in the area where they were that they were there. If BG was in the area by chance and on the SM site too, he would be able to see they were there without any prior contact or knowledge of them. Lots of people would have 'checked in' historically, especially if the bridge is an attraction of sorts...

Same. I posted on the last thread that my daughters look exactly like her. It's like standard attire for teens, what she's wearing.

Well it's obvious by the picture of Abby fishing with the high bridge in the background that this was a favorite spot of theirs. Really makes my mind wonder....

The search for their killer has now gone into its second month.

David McCain, organizer for the Monon High Bridge Trail, said the community is devastated by the murders but determined not to let that be what defines them.

“This community is so much more than that,” said McCain. "We’re going to prove them different. We’re going to take back our trails.”

The task force discussed a timeframe for when trail cameras would begin going up in the area, the first of their big projects. They are also considering adding posts along the trails to help 911 callers identify where they are if they need to call for help.

Agree with your post. Teens change their look constantly to get the look they want! Abby and Libby look like nice well grounded girls who just wanted to spend time together as friends and hang out even though they had their ups and downs. Appearances should not warrant harm. JMO, they were just at the wrong place at the wrong time.......
 
Let's talk about Nancy Grace who I believe may be involved/helping based on her comments several weeks ago. She looked into the camera and said she was going to see about a killing in Indiana and she said to the killer of Abby and Libby.... "You are a dead man walking"

I think most females experiment with makeup and clothes when they're teenagers...most of us were just lucky enough to go through that period of lives without social media. My parents still have some pictures of me that I would be embarrassed to show online now, but at the time my friends and I thought we looked fabulous. Thankfully, I was a senior in high school before the internet became a place to post pics and meet people.
