Family and friends looking for missing Portland woman

Maddie Smith vanished last week.

She’d recently had to move out of the house she shared because she’d broken her arm and couldn’t work.

She was getting a ride with her father Tuesday when she jumped out near Southeast 172nd and Foster and ran.

If you do a fb search of "maddie smith missing " you'll find a post by her sister that has more pics and interesting comments. Just a warning, there are over 400 comments but worth scrolling through. I seriously hope she's found soon, sounds like she may have had a mental health break. MOO

I messaged her sister informing her of this thread and how dedicated websleuths is to finding missing people. I hope she joins and I really, really hope Maddie is found safe soon.

I am so terribly worried about this young woman ...:

Updated poster, Multnomah County Sheriff's Office has nothing to do with this case and had no clue who I was talking about when I called them. It is a Portland Police case. Please verify correct contacts before posting. I'm seeing on SM that Maddie was found deceased earlier today . I will update as soon as it is confirmed via MSM. So beautiful, so young ... RIP, Sweet Girl .

"Missing 25-year-old woman found dead in Southeast Portland"

"Police say the family of 25-year-old Maddie Smith found her dead near Southeast 172nd Ave. and Foster Rd. Saturday afternoon.
Multnomah County Sheriff's Office deputies responded and determined that there were no signs of foul play.
Maddie Elizabeth Smith was last seen March 14 around 8 p.m. near the same area where she was found dead."
