What is interesting about this case is how little info they provide. 1-99 years old is very interesting and you'd think would be obvious to tell the difference between an adult and infants remains. The lack of remains makes me wonder how and where they were found. Seems only a couple limbs and maybe feet were recovered.

Inventory of Remains
  • Head not recovered
  • Torso not recovered
  • One or more limbs not recovered
  • One or both hands not recovered

Cape Carteret man still missing

Missing in May 2015 but left on foot and UID found quite a distance away. Possible he got a ride at some point. There’s so little on the UID that nothing really rules it in or out.

I think they mean 18-99 but made a typo. Individuals without a specific age range are logged as 18-99.

Yeah, you'd think. Babies' bodies are very different. The fat ratio, I think, just for starters.

Could this possibly be Samuel Waters, missing out of Georgia in January 2015? His friend confessed to killing him, dismembering him and dumping the pieces in different places, they haven't found any yet. Is it possible his friend dumped a piece of out of state? Plus Lawrenceville, GA and Concord, NC are a roughly 3 hour drive apart.

DA: Missing man's remains were buried across the county

I think we're probably dealing with some kind of dismemberment, but would there still be soft tissue after seven years? *facepalm* Oops, just reread the UID find date, 2015 is bang on, good find. Still, January to November, through the summer... it's possible?

@Caring1 Hey could you post the current NamUs Exclusion List for this John Doe? I would greatly appreciate it.
