Please DO NOT bring in family members of the victim's and suggest they might have had something to do with the crime. As of right now, there is ZERO evidence to suggest this is the case.

People, please think about what Abby and Liberty's loved ones are going through right now.

They lost their two angels to murder and now they read on the Internet people are ripping their lives apart.

Same thing with any random person you happen to bring up. These people do not deserve to have their lives spread out and accusations made against them based on a theory with nothing to back it up.

I know it's frustrating when you go on other sites and they are talking about EVERYTHING but we just do not work that way on Websleuths.

Police ID bodies of Indiana girls

Two bodies found along a northern Indiana stream are those of two teenage girls who went missing Mondayand their deaths are being investigated as homicides, authorities said on Wednesday.

State Police Sgt. Kim Riley said autopsies performed Wednesday determined that the bodies are those of Liberty German, 14, and Abigail Williams, 13, both of Delphi.

Their bodies were found Tuesday afternoon along Deer Creek near Delphi, about 60 miles northwest of Indianapolis. Police said the girls’ bodies were about three-quarters of a mile from an abandoned railroad bridge where they were dropped off Monday to go hiking.

RILEY: We have looked at it. We`ve blown it up. As a matter of fact, that was done right after we got the picture -- we had access to the picture. And if you look at the far end of the tracks, it looks like there`s two people actually standing there. But if you blow the picture up, you`ll notice that there`s actually three poles there to keep cars from being -- trying to drive across the bridge. So that`s the marks that you see at the end of the tracks.

I have been of the belief that if there was dna it was not viable or there was no dna or suspect is not in database. Jmo

I'm thinking no dna. Jmo
 
BG's nose is very distinctive. It is referred to as a bulbous nose. (It has also been called potato nose on these threads). I hope the nose can play a role in identifying him.
 
JMO I believe Abby and Libby were killed very quickly after the video of BG. IF it happened that fast I would think that there is some usable DNA. My guess is that the unsub isn't in the database. I do believe the BG is a felon, someone recently released from prison, but also someone that had been incarcerated before DNA testing was required by law.
 
Looking at videos ppl made of the bridge and where they think the girls may have been they all say the girls would have been seen...yet in ever video I have watched the person taking the video is the only person there on the trail the entire time.
Seems a very desolate place especially in the winter.

It is a rather distinctive feature. It was the first thing I noticed when the picture first came out.

Good point. This is what I thought for a long time. Then, looking at one of the side-by-side comparisons (with someone who is not necessarily BG, but could possibly be, that is, RL) I noticed a little white spot on the end of the nose, which I had thought was part of the bulbousness. When I look at the nose as being a bit shorter and ending just above the small white spot, and the white spot as the beginning of a mustache, I see the face very differently. The brownish "mustache" can be BG's mouth. So, I'm no longer convinced of the bulbous nose. I'm with the folks who are only convinced of the blue jeans at the moment. I'm not arguing that BG is RL, just that I can see that as a possibility. This photo is truly a Rorschach test. MOO.

Agree and I think this is an important point. I've seen the area referred by some here as a "park"...don't know how others view a park, but from where I come from, this is not a park.
 
I'm not sure if he followed them across the bridge. He could have started at the S side, passed them and could see that no one else was coming and turned around. IMO he was doing something that made Libby start filming him. I will be so glad when LE makes an arrest, they have plenty of time to build their case and I think that is what they are doing.
 
So if they have DNA, did they test RL when he was arrested? They either don't have it and said they did, or I'd think they'd have mentioned whether or not RL matched or not or they do and for some reason either didn't test RL against it or are keeping quiet about the results for some reason.

I think RL's arrest and the searching was something that needed to be done, so I'm glad they did it, so we can at least know how much of his property was involved, but I don't think RL is the guy or we'd know more by now. I think they're trying to cover bases...which is commendable considering some police forces don't, but I also think they're at a dead end.

I hate they can't share more with the public that might be able to help, but I understand they have to weigh the costs.
