Richmond County deputies looking for missing 23-year-old man


Julian was last seen on the 700 Block of Broad Street around 2 a.m. waiting for a cab.

He was possibly going to Beech Island, South Carolina to meet an unknown woman. He was wearing all black clothing.

I'm from Augusta and still live in the CSRA but in Aiken, SC.

I'll sniff around & see what I can find.

Gosh, I cannot find any more info on Julian Williams missing.
I did find a cousins social media post with his poster and I cannot believe how disrespectful a few people are.
I pray you are safe Julian and you make it home soon. :please:
 
Middle name is Marki according to this article with additional info.

Williams suffered a brain injury in November 2011 when he was shot.

His parents called the sheriff's office after receiving a call with the message from the caller that he had kidnapped their son. The caller said he beat Williams up and told him to walk home.

They have been unable to reach Julian by phone after receiving that disturbing call.

Aiken County Coroner Tim Carlton said the body of 23-year-old Julian M. Williams was discovered Wednesday afternoon behind an abandoned trailer on Spider Web Road in Beech Island, and the manner of death appears to be homicide. Williams has been missing since March 26, 2017.

Williams' body was found shortly after law enforcement arrested Steven Ray Jackson, 26, and Antonio Deaunte Simpkins, 24, both of Beech Island, around 10:15 a.m. Wednesday.

Both men were charged with kidnapping, but they may face more charges, according to a release provided by the Aiken County Sheriff's Office.

this sounds to me like he was lured out by a woman (real or fake) for a robbery.
 
%$#@*&^! Taking advantage of this guy no doubt. So very very sad... Especially since there was so little interest here. Sorry for your friends and family and anyone who loved you, Julian. I'm sad that you weren't protected from the bad.

This story makes me sick. I pray they pay with what's left of their sorry lives.

Beech Island, SC is not really an Island but an unincorporated community in Aiken Co., SC.
I've lived in Aiken County for 12 years.

James Brown is Beech Islands most famous resident, after moving to Beech Island from Augusta, GA in the mid to late 1970's. As a child I remember riding by is house on Walton Way in Augusta every year in December to see the amazing Christmas decorations. He really did a lot for the children in our community.
