He was a much-loved father and grandfather. Robert Godwin Sr spent the day surrounded by his family and enjoying an Easter feast.
As Mr. Goodwin walked home he encountered a mad man, Steven Stephens.
Stephens was mad at his girlfriend and said that was the reason he was shooting Mr. Goodwin in the head.
It is beyond senseless.
