The "monitor adaptor" is an interesting item found near the remains. Does that mean an HDMI cable, projector dongle, etc? I would think if it were simply a USB phone charger it would have been listed that way. I wonder how close to the remains it was. If this case is a homicide could it have been an opportune ligature?

That pic with the crucifix... there's something to the left of it on the chain. Could that be that adaptor? They didn't mention a broken key, so I am wondering what that item is.

IMOO.

Is the black object sort of tucked under the top of the crucifix what you're looking at? It looks to me like it might be a zip tie. BTW thank goodness for decent quality photos in this case!

There's another odd object under the crucifix that is barely visible in this photo. IMO it looks like maybe a paper towel holder key or some sort of driver tool for a very specific purpose.

Taylor Ctomy has been ruled out.

I still can't tell what that fishtail-like pronged object under the crucifix is. I came across a paper towel holder key that doesn't match.

(But it reminded me of this case). I have looked through many janitorial supply sites and couldn't figure it out. The closest thing might be an emergency light testing key. http://shop.newaveelec.co.uk/mk-340...witches-and-removing-secret-screws-1075-p.asp
