Found Deceased IL - Sheila Khalili, 27, Bourbonnais, ONU student, 5 May 2017

Olivet Nazarene University nursing student Sheila Khalili was reported missing by her family on Friday.

The 27-year-old Khalili is 5-foot-2, 170 pounds and was last seen in the Bourbonnais area at around 2 a.m. Friday driving a white 2016 Toyota Corolla, license plate Z750932.

Posts on Facebook seem to say her name is Sheila Kay ? Not sure if maybe this is a name she goes by or a mistake?

A lot of people I know are using their first name and either a middle name or other name in place of showing their last name. It's makes us harder to find on Facebook by our clients etc. (I'm a social worker).

Information from ABC7 Chicago:

Sheila Khalili was expected to return home to her parent's house in Schaumburg Friday and never arrived. She was last known to be 10 minutes from Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais.

Khalili was last seen wearing all black. She drives a white 2016 Toyota Corola with Illinois license plate Z750932.

I feel the same way. I'm not sure which direction she was going on I-75, but I looked up the general area and there are some bodies of water off the side that I hope they are looking at.

I always worry at the end of a school year that maybe this is one of those kids that failed out/ never enrolled and now has to face the music with family.

She was last seen getting off an exit on I-57 not I-75.

There is a triangular shaped retention pond off I-57 going south about 1/4 mile before the Bourbonnais exit. It's near a significant curve in the road. I wonder if there is a fence or if anyone has checked the pond.

Have they said who the last person to talk to her was? Did they actually see her or just talk to her on the phone? I only ask because some posts make it seem like someone saw her around 2am in Bourbonnais and some posts say "last known location". Is the last known location her cell phone ping?

Yeah I was using another name of my Facebook for a long while. I just wanted to make sure it wasnt a mistake either here or there (if that makes sense)

I have found several articles that say Sheila was actually "seen" in Bourbonnais but yet to find anything that talks about how they know that or who was the last person to see her or talk to her:

So the impression I am getting is that someone actually saw Sheila drive away in her car -e.g., after dropping the witness off, upon leaving the witness's home, etc.- while still in Bourbonnais.

This article does a better job than any other that I have seen of explaining the circumstances of Sheila's disappearance:

"Sheila Khalili, 27, was last seen in Bourbonnais about 2 a.m. Friday. She was driving a white 2016 Toyota Corolla with Illinois license plate number Z750932.

Khalili left her home in Schaumburg to pick up her items from Olivet's campus, where she lived during the school year while studying nursing.
...
Schaumburg police are leading the investigation and do not suspect foul play.
...

I57 is not a tollway, at least not anywhere near that area. So the ipass would not be helpful in locating her near Bourbonnais.

Has anyone said who she was going to meet at 2am?

My apologies: Yes, you are most likely correct, as her missing poster says she was last known to be driving on I-57 in Bourbonnais. It also says she was still heading towards ONU, so she would have been captured driving southbound.
Sorry for the confusion ... Off to make some more coffee ... :cup:.
