Family Trees created on Ancestry.com have her maiden name as Thomas.
Date of birth 01 Apr 1958.
Born in Decatur, Illinois.
Alternate first name spelling in some records is Terrie with an e on the end.
She married 22 Dec 1978 in Wichita, Texas.
Her husband's last name is spelled Ehrhart in the Texas marriage record.

Here's her marriage record on Familysearch: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:VYQP-32B

I was unable to find a yearbook photo but maybe this info will help someone else find it. Thomas is a very common last name and I don't know for certain where she went to high school.

He would not comment about a possible suspect or suspects, a motive or where the offense is believed to have occurred. ; He said Ehrhart was reported missing on Nov. 12, 1981, by her mother, Billie Thomas, who he identified as a resident of Moultrie... Decatur police confirmed on Monday that a 23-year-old woman who disappeared from Decatur in May 1981 is believed to be the victim of a homicide. Terrie Ehrhart was reported missing to the department in November 1981, and an extensive investigation has led police to conclude she was murdered, according to Lt. Joseph M. Meyers. When Decatur police learned of the discovery on Sunday of a skull by two hunters in DeWitt County, it prompted them to consider various reports of missing persons and homicides. Before it was determined the skull was likely that of an Indian, Ehrhart's name surfaced at police headquarters.
