Unidentified Wiki states his death as being suspicious
Ah, ty! Does Unidentified Wiki link to a source for this information? Confirmed information such as that can sometimes help narrow down potential matches based on the circumstances of a MP's disappearance. It'd be interesting to know why his death is considered suspicious.

I found a post by the NCMEC from 2015. Apparently, Mario traveled from La Costa, California, and may be from Mexico.

I'm looking through Newspapers.com and can't find anything.
I am not surprised sadly. I know a few long time residents that live in this town. I showed them the poster and they knew nothing about it even though they lived right near this location at the time. They said there is such low crime in town and insisted they would have remembered something like this. Maybe it just didn’t get a lot of attention at the time?
