The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office has issued a missing person alert seeking to locate Shaniece Harris, a 31-year-old Rock Hill woman who was last seen at 8:20 p.m. on Monday, May 29.

Harris, who is five feet, eight inches tall and weighs 260 pounds, was wearing a black and gray hooded sweatshirt with four pockets, black sweatpants, and black Nike Air Max sneakers.* She wears glasses, has rosary beads and a “rest in peace” tattoo on her lower left arm and a “Sparkz” tattoo on her right forehand.

Three years later, Rock Hill woman is still missing

Friday marked three years since Shaniece Harris disappeared.

Her mother, Elvia Crump, would not let the day pass without doing what she could to remind everybody her daughter is still missing.

"I don't want people to forget her," Crump said.
 
Harris, 34, has brown hair, brown eyes, is around 5’8” and weighs about 260 pounds. She has a tattoo on her right forehand that reads “Sparkz” and a tattoo on her left arm of hands folded in prayer that reads “Rest in Peace.” Harris was last seen in Rock Hill, NY in Sullivan County. She was known to frequent areas in Middletown and Monticello.Anyone with information about Shaniece, or what may have happened to her, is asked to call the FBI New York at 212/384-1000. They could receive a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to an arrest in the case.

FBI Offers $10,000 for Info About a Missing Hudson Valley Woman

A large reward is now being offered as the search continues for a missing Hudson Valley woman.

Shaniece Harris was last seen on May 29, 2017. She hasn't been heard from since that date, investigators say. The FBI is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to an arrest in the case.
 
Shaniece remains missing four years today, despite reward money no further updates.

Police are looking for the men and women, and so are volunteers with the missing persons organization Hope Alive 845.

“We were involved in the four girls missing from Port Jervis. We located three of them out of four,” said Hope Alive 845 founder Domingo Ramos. “We’re still looking for Heather Callas. We’re still involved in the Shaniece Harris case, and we are still looking for Steven Graft and Marvin Gibbs. He’s another one who went missing from '85 that no one is talking about.”

 
After almost six years, local police and the FBI are still looking for information that might help locate a Rock Hill, NY woman who went missing back in May of 2017.

The date was May 29, 2017, a day that friends and family will never forget, as that was the day that Shaniece Harris vanished. As we approach the 6-year anniversary of her disappearance the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office, along with the FBI are still hoping that someone might have information that could help in solving one of the Hudson Valley's numerous missing person cases.
