There is a woman with her exact name (Judith Kathryn Thomas) that is the right age (born 1961) who was arrested in Gaston County, NC while living in Spartanburg, SC: https://www.policearrests.com/arrests/judith_kathryn_thomas_id_33140758.html

The height and weight stats for the arrested JKT match the missing woman, but I can't tell if this is her. This woman with same DOB as arrest record above has address records in Brooklyn, NY and Elizabeth, NJ as well.

Unfortunately, I'm having trouble locating records of a Judith Kathryn Thomas living in Arkansas in 1985 in order to figure out if the missing woman's DOB is the same as the woman in the above arrest report. Hope someone can find a DOB to confirm or rule out the above record.
 
Note the word left, seems as thou she may have left on her own accord.

I'm surprised Judith Thomas doesn't have a Charley Project yet. There's not much information about her disappearance. I'm going to keep looking through.
 
I wonder if she was married at all. I'm not seeing her on Classmates anywhere.
On NamUs it says she went by Judy so I tried using Judy Thomas, Judy Kathryn Thomas, Judith Thomas and Judith Kathryn Thomas but I'm not getting any results so far. I assume she must have graduated around 1979 if she was 24 years old in 1985 (if she graduated that is).
I also find it very odd that she disappeared on Halloween night (listed as such on NamUs).

Little Rock, Arkansas on October 31st, 1985 at 24 years old. She would be 59 years old if she is alive today. Still no photo updates.
