Amsterdam - Car drives into crowd at train station, 10 June 2017

Oh god.....

So far it doesn't sound like there are fatalities, and no word about whether it was accidental or intentional.

Oh dear seems to be a regular occurrence in Europe these days.

Ok, panic over, everybody back to your favourite "coffee shop"

:peace:

Thank God it isn't terror related and no fatalities.

Yes safeguard you're right it is a sad reflection of the times we are living in.

It is still unclear what happened.
Daily Mail wasn't quite wide awake last night.

Allegedly, the man drove with high speed into the area near the Central Station.
He wasn't parked, he had to stop because he could not go further because the trams were in his way.

The Police approach the car, they speak to the driver, tell him he will be fined and also tell him to follow the tramway.
Next, he takes off with high speed and drives into the crowd.

If he was unwell, why did LE let him continue? Witnesses say the driver appeared irritated. Driver claims he does not remember a thing.

His name or background have not been released, meaning he is probably North African.

The not remembering and incapacitated details remind me of Adacia Chambers.

Are they saying he was ill? Drunk? In a dissociative state? How incapacitated could he be and they would still arrest him?

I have just read somewhere, but cant remember where, that he was diabetic and was fasting against medical advice.
