Kentucky man reported missing from Americade

A 69-year-old Kentucky man who was volunteering at the Americade festival has been missing since Wednesday, State Police said.

Robert M. Vanderhoff, 69 years old, is described as a white male, 6 feet tall and 220 pounds, with gray hair and eyeglasses. He was last seen at the Ledgeview Camp Ground on Route 149 in Lake George, police said.

He may be operating a red 2016 Honda African Twin on/off road enduro motorcycle with saddlebags and a Kentucky license plate of 09325Z.

State Police are looking for a 69-year-old Kentucky man who was volunteering at Americade this week.

Police say Robert M. Vanderhoof, also known as "Mike," was last seen at the Ledgeview Camp Ground on State Route 149 in Lake George on Wednesday.

Vanderhoof is described by police as 6-feet tall and 220 pounds with gray hair. He wears eye glasses.

According to police, Vanderhoof may be driving a red 2016 Honda African Twin on/off road enduro motorcycle which has saddle bags attached and a Kentucky license plate of 09325Z.

Americade is a HUGE event in that area...all about motorcycles! People come from all over the country...its a well run event...I have been many times. (Not on a motorcycle, I just used to live in that area).

It seems his motorcycle is missing too, so maybe he got lost? Lots of wilderness in that area!

Or....I wonder if he got into an accident and hasn't been found yet.

I hope he is found safe.
 
About an hour from Lake George, then, it looks.
