The Woodlands are owned by Dover International Speedway, and the area where the body was found is also close to where NASCAR fans camped two weeks earlier.

Death of woman at Firefly festival still a mystery

While investigators identified Linda C. Moore, whose last known address was in Charlotte, through dental records after the discovery on June 15, 2017, the cause and manner of death was ruled “undetermined” by the Delaware Division of Forensic Science.

“If any more information on the case was received we would reopen it and continue to investigate,” Delaware State Police spokeswoman Sgt. Melissa Jaffe said Tuesday.
Authorities said there was no indication that Ms. Moore’s death was suspicious or resulted from foul play.
Police said Ms. Moore’s ties to the area were unknown and her family had been notified of her death.

"It is believed that she lost her life on March 30th of this year."

With a brother in nearby Salisbury, Maryland, Linda Moore had the opportunity to regularly speak with him and, a few times, travel down to meet him.
Using that established communication timeline between Linda and her brother...
"It is believed that she lost her life on March 30th of [2017]. He definitely talked to her a few days before March 30th."
"He mentioned that she had called a cab company in Salisbury, to [pick her up in] Dover, Delaware. And she'd rode with them a couple of times [but] this particular day, she didn't feel comfortable getting into the cab."
For the siblings, that was potentially a major clue into to what had happened to Linda.
"[My brother] told me he thought the cab driver was a little upset that he'd driven so far to get her."

Linda Moore's remains were skeletal bones.
