An infant was shot and killed Wednesday afternoon as his father was taking him for a walk outside his southwest Houston apartment.
At a press conference Thursday, Houston Police Chief Art Acevedo vowed to track down the perpetrators of the shooting and to end violence at the apartment complex in the 5400 block of Braesvalley.
"We're not going to put up with this," Acevedo said. "Gangsters ... killing a 10-month-old boy being held by his father, that's outrageous. And I promise you we are going to come after these people."
