The Butte County Sheriff's Office (BCSO) is looking for Andrew McCracken, 22, after he was reported missing on June 16.

Friends and family of McCracken said that they haven't seen or heard from him since he left to go camping on June 4. His family noted that this is not usual behavior for McCracken.

McCracken is known to go camping in the Gridley area, but he did not tell anyone where he planned to go camping on this trip.

Camper’s disappearance under investigation in Butte County

Although he is known to camp in the Gridley area, McCracken did not tell anyone where he planned to camp when he left June 4.

McCracken is described as white, 6 feet tall, weighing 160 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes.
