Found Safe FL - Victoria Stites, 19, Palm Bay, 24 June 2017

Police said Victoria Stites left her Palm Bay home Saturday in a green shirt and black jeans, and believe she could be traveling to Jamaica, New York, with a man she met on Facebook.

Stites, who was carrying a purple duffel bag when she left, has a lower mental capacity than her age and is considered endangered, police said.

Is there a description of the man she meet online? Jamaica Queens is not a safe place. I hope the police are doing all they can to find her. There must be an electronic trail.

“We were contacted by the New York City Police Department who made contact with her. She appears in good health,” said Lt. Mike Bandish of the Palm Bay Police Department. “Apparently, she may be with the man she met over the internet,” he added. Police said Stites was carrying a purple bag.

“An unknown person picked her,” Bandish said Sunday. An investigation is underway into the identity of the man who was communicating with her online. Police said that she was en route to Queens, New York before police located her.
