I can't imagine how the patients feel. They are so vulnerable. I would never leave them. Praying for the staff and patients...
 
CNN just reported multiple people shot. Lets hope they survive and that staff are able to get to them and care for them.
 
So many hiding places in a Hospital yet lots of security cameras typically.
 
It's on all the major news networks: Fox, CNN, and MSNBC.
 
Fox News is reporting 3 doctors shot and small fire. Shooter is former employee; that person may no longer be a threat.

I wish it could stop in all cases but....... If I am on call and come in to Emerg I have witnessed many a Cop/Nurse/Dr./EMS on the ground wrestling with somebody. I hate it as many are personal friends.

Ugh we just keep adding locations -- this is pretty cruel incapacitated people that cant run that needs stuff \

awe all know how this works but there was a report of AA make with a lady walking out

now we are gonna have copy cats at hospitals
 
I imagine that they'll secure the ER so staff can work on the trauma victims. They'll have to secure all other units and do headcounts.
