JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla.
- Police are searching for a missing 7-year-old boy who's believed to be with his mother, who is wanted for questioning in a death investigation, the Jacksonville Beach Police Department said. Officers were called Friday at an apartment at the corner of 10th Street North and First Avenue North, just north of Beach Boulevard, to investigate a suspicious death in combination with a missing child.

The child, Luke Gjelaj, is believed to be with his mother, 39-year-old Marla E. D'Andrea, police said.

D'Andrea is described as being 5 feet 2 inches tall with brown hair and brown eyes.
The pair are believed to be traveling in a gray Hyundai four-door vehicle with Florida tag GZAW55 and may be heading to the Daytona or Orlando areas, investigators said.

:happydance: So happy he is safe and I hope his mom wasn't involved in the suspicious death.

Murder charge for mother wanted in Jacksonville Beach death; missing boy found safe

- The mother wanted in connection with a suspicious death in Jacksonville Beach is in an Orlando jail.
Marla D'Andrea is being held on a Duval County warrant alleging second degree murder.
Jacksonville Beach police said she and her 7-year-old Luke Gjelal were found at Orlando International Airport just before 9:30 p.m. Friday.
They had been the subjects of a statewide search.
Police did not know if D'Andrea was trying to fly out of OIA with her son. Investigators say D'Andrea has custody of her son and that's why an Amber Alert was not issued.
