Body Mysteriously Found In Plattsburgh Home

Authorities Investigating Scene; Locals Worried

Police are investigating the mysterious discovery of a body found inside a home in Plattsburgh.

Investigators are not sure how the victim died, but police confirmed Thursday that they have found one body in a house off Military Turnpike in Plattsburgh.

So far, authorities haven't said who it is or how long the body's been there.

Relatives, however, who couldn't reach the family last week, were concerned enough to call police.

State police said they got a call on Dec. 23 from a person in Florida, asking them to check on some Plattsburgh relatives from whom they hadn't heard in a while.

Body of missing woman found in warehouse

PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. (AP) _ The body of a missing woman whose husband was found murdered earlier this week was discovered in a warehouse of the couple's furniture store, police said on Sunday.

Lorraine Donivan, 46, of Schuyler Falls, had been listed as missing on Dec. 29 after her husband, 67-year-old David Donivan, was found dead in their home.

Her body was found Sunday in a warehouse of the House of Pine and Oak, the furniture store owned by the couple and also the location of their residence.

I've never heard the term "informational road block". I'm assuming it means a roadblock where they ask people in the cars, and on the street if they saw anything?

Is that correct?

That's what it sounds like to me.

I've never heard of that either, but the definition sounds about right. Interesting.
