He was last seen on Friday? Why so little info and media coverage????

I never understand that. This boy is 9! Surely there would be more info out, and he'd be on the news??

Her name and picture are now included in the link in the OP as well. Amy Lynn Morris.

I dug through Highlands County domestic court records yesterday to see if I could find anything relating to a possible domestic/custody situation. Nothing recent under Destin's last name as far as that goes. Now knowing her name, there is an open and ongoing case of 'parent fail to require school attendance', with an upcoming court date next week (July 19).

I'm getting quite concerned. The court records paint a bit of a picture. It appears that Destin's safety now depends on the mental state of his mom - it all depends on how desperate she is - and that is not an okay place for a child to be.
