39-year-old Sachiko Basden left her home in Tuscumbia sometime during the night without her ID.

Basden’s husband reported her missing on Friday. She has not attempted to contact him or their four children and her cell phone has been turned off.

Although she had only been missing a few hours at the time, police issued a BOLO with her information because of her recently erratic behavior.

Sachiko Basden is 5’4” and 115 pounds, with dark hair and hazel eyes. She has a large dragon tattoo on the small of her back and a small dragon tattoo on her ankle.

Tuscumbia Police Chief Tony Logan confirmed that Sachiko Brasden left her home Thursday night without any of her ID or personal belongings.

Her cellphone is off and she has not tried to make contact with her husband and four children.

The Tuscumbia Police Department says the family had concerns about her recent irrational behavior.

Basden is a white female, approximately 5’4″ with hazel eyes, around 115 pounds. She has a large dragon tattoo on her back and a small dragon tattoo on her ankle. She is 39 years old.

That is strange because that could be very important in finding her.

Search intensifies for missing Tuscumbia woman

From the air and ground, law enforcement was combing every inch of Richmond Hills in Tuscumbia Monday morning.

Her husband last saw Sachiko as he was going to bed. She was listening to music in the garage.

I woke up at 3:30 and she was not in the bed,” Ray Basden explained.

“We just have not heard anything from family, friends, acquaintances. Its just like she walked out of the garage and disappeared,” said Basden.

Click on view comments to this article....very interesting.

Basden's husband and children haven't heard from her since she went missing, and her cell phone is turned off...
Tuscumbia Police*Chief Tony Logan told WHNT*that Basden's family has been concerned about her recent irrational behavior.

Though definitely curious, I am going to dismiss those comments at least for the time-being.

I just searched her name on Facebook, and the third result that came up under "Posts" was a post by Sachiko's mom from last night, urging the public to call LE if they see her. Also, in reply to someone's comment, Sachiko's mom confirms "her recent irrational behavior." I hope this is OK to post (I'm not going to link ;)!); if not, mods, please delete.

And it is also possible that she came to harm later -let this not be the case!- even if her disappearance initially unfolded due to a mental health emergency.

She has been missing for almost four days. I'm starting to get very worried about her. According to an article I just found:

"Basden's husband, Ray Basden, said his wife was not acting like herself the night she disappeared.

'It was nothing that really alarmed me except I did notice she was a little bit more to herself,' said Ray Basden.

Ray Basden said what alarms him the most is that his wife walked away without telling anyone where she was going.

'She has gone on trips before but she always carries the children with her. This time she left with no ID, no jewelry, no money and no car,' said Basden."
