Search and rescue teams are looking for three hikers that went missing Sunday night.
The three went for a hike Sunday, and were reported missing when one of the hiker's wife noticed they hadn't returned home around midnight.
One of the hikers is reportedly a diabetic, and searchers are concerned about the medication, which is sensitive to temperature. They aren't confident that he has his medication with him.
Crews also don't know how much food the hikers may have with them. The hot summer temperatures mean that hydration could also be a factor.
Fourteen searchers are combing the area. The search is focused on the area near Back Valley Road in Soddy Daisy in an area called Big Soddy Creek Gulf.
