Lisa Joy Theris last spoke with family members on July 18, according to Central Alabama Crime Stoppers. Her father and two friends reported her missing on July 23.

Theris is white with brown hair and blue eyes. She weighs about 145 pounds and is 5-foot 5 inches tall.

According to authorities, Theris has a medical condition that requires daily medication, and she may need her prescription medication.

Another girl, Lelia Faulkner, is missing from Troy since last year some timeframe. The two girls have mutual friends.

Just throwing this out there.....Troy is a college town. If it weren't for the university, there wouldn't be a lot there.
 
The friends of family of Lisa Theris are growing increasingly worried as more and more days pass since they last made contact with her.

Theris, 25, disappeared July 18 and police have not yet found anything to point to where she might be. Although Theris is from Louisville, friends say she was reportedly in Troy the last time she contacted anyone.

Myisha Brown, one of the two friends who filed the missing person report along with Theris’ father, said it is unlike Theris to go days without contacting anybody.

“I had last spoken with Lisa on Tuesday and Melissa had too,” Brown said. “Lisa never responded to my messages and her Facebook shows she wasn’t active, which wasn’t like her. She’s very close with family and friends.

Her facebook says she is in a relationship. But doesn't say who it is. I don't see any pics or names in her posts. If you looked at my facebook, my husband's pic is all over it. I saw one mention of a relationship but can't talk about it. Have you seen anything?

Scrolled a long time into 2015 and i think i found a boyfriend, if you go in his fb, he is very much posting for her to search etc. But not allowed to post his name here...
 
There is a post going around on Facebook by a man with the last names Theris, he is stating that a married man is involved in this and that he knows where she is. I don't know if I can post here.
 
Missing woman's family desperate for answers as search continues

We know something has happened. Troy police have assured us that they’re also looking desperately and they have some leads,” William Theris stated. “There’s people that they’re looking for that know about the case and they know about Lisa and where Lisa is. We just desperately want to get some news.”

Chief Barr does not think Lisa Theris’ case is related to the disappearance of Lelia Faulkner, of Troy, who has been missing for more than a year.

Police arrest man of interest in missing woman investigation

A man of interest in the case of a missing woman has been arrested on theft and burglary charges by the Troy Police Department.

According to Troy police, an investigation revealed Manly Green Davis, 31, of Troy knew Lisa Joy Theris, 25, of Louisville, who has been missing for two weeks. Police also said Davis and Theris were together on or around the time she was reported missing by her father.

That is the man that was listed on the FB post I mentioned. This does not look good at all.

Lisa Theris is a resident of Louisville, AL. According to law enforcement she was allegedly with two or three men on Pleasant Hill Road in Midway when a hunting camp was burglarized. This was the last place she was seen before she was reported missing.

Manley Green Davis, 31, of Pike County was arrested on Monday, July 31 and charged with Burglary in the Third Degree and Theft in the First Degree relating to the burglary and theft at the hunting camp in Midway. Law enforcement said the theft involved four wheelers, ATVs, tools, chainsaws and other items valued at $40,000.

According to law enforcement, at some time at the scene of the burglary, Lisa Theris fled into the woods, or left in a vehicle.

I'm confused. Was Lisa with the men who were stealing things or did she run away scared while the thefts were taking place?

Gardener, as I understand it both is true. Lisa was with Davis (see bolded sentence in Lisa's post) but apparently ran off while the burglary was taking place.
