My uncle, Jim Mills, Jr., (Date of Birth 02/28/1945) died on December 15, 2014. It is believed that he was brutally attacked by three men in a white Chevy S-10 pick-up truck. The attack happened near Route 11 on Hammons Fork Road outside of Barboursville in Knox County, Kentucky. This is a rural area. He was taken to the University of Kentucky Hospital where he died from his injuries, and the Fayette County Coroner performed an autopsy. I heard one or more of the suspects have since moved to Tennessee, but I am unable to confirm this. No one has been charged. It seems this is a cold case now. There are some newspaper articles about this cold-blooded murder available online at www.mountainadvocate.com. Thank you in advance for using your Websleuth skills to help bring closure to my family.
