She is considered missing with Ismael Beltran, 36, who also goes by the name of Pallett, according to police records.

Hughes' car was left in an auto shop for repairs. She borrowed her mother's car July 5 and had two men with her when she picked it up, records show. Hughes' mother tried to call Hughes several times and on July 8, Hughes returned her mother's call. She said she would bring the car back as soon as possible and told her mother she was trying to get Pallet to leave her house and she couldn't talk about it.

At just after midnight July 9, Hughes' mother heard a car door shut in her driveway. She looked out to see who it was and saw her car had been returned, police records show.

Her [Robin's] bedroom door was locked from the inside but Hughes' father and son were able to force it open. Her father told police he did not see any signs of a struggle. Her father also told police that he stopped by Beltran's place of employment and learned that Beltran was no longer employed, records show.

Beverly Rippy misses her good friend Robin Hughes and hopes anyone with information about the missing woman will come forward.

Rippy said her friend of 11 years has never gone missing before.

“She’s never done anything like this,” Rippy said. “We just want to find her.”

Both Hughes and Beltran have been entered as missing persons in a national crime database.

Beltran has also not been seen since July 8. The last person to see him was his ex-wife, who lives in Bowling Green. She told police Beltran told her he needed to get out of town because there was no work for him here.

Anyone with information about Hughes or Beltran is asked to call BGPD at 270-393-2473.

I wonder who dropped off the car and if the police were able to lift prints? Hmm. Hopefully something breaks soon.

Details of Disappearance
Hughes was last seen in Bowling Green, Kentucky in early July 2017. Her own car was in the shop for repairs, and she borrowed her mother's car that day. Two men were with her when she picked it up.

Over the next few days, Hughes's mother tried to call her several times. On July 8, Hughes returned her call and said she would return the car as soon as possible. She also said she was trying to get her boyfriend, Ismael Beltran, to leave her house, but couldn't talk about it. Just after midnight on July 9, Hughes's mother heard a car in her driveway. She looked out the window and saw that her car had been returned.

On the afternoon of July 11, Hughes's father and her adult son went to her home to check on her, as her parents hadn't been able to get in touch with her. All the lights were off, but the television was on. Hughes's keys were in the living room and her dogs had been left alone, which is uncharacteristic of her. Her bedroom door was locked from the inside, but her father and her son were able to force it open. There were no indications of a struggle.

There has been no indication of Hughes's whereabouts since then, and Beltran has not been seen since July 8. The last person to see him was his ex-wife; he told her he needed to get out of town because he had no work.

Hughes has never gone missing before. The circumstances of her and Beltran's disappearances are unclear.
